Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead MEP design teams on large and medium size projects and successfully deliver.
  • Manage time and budgets for-going projects
  • Support in bids and time and cost estimates for prospective work.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide them in continuous professional development.

Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 15 years’ experience of working in design and execution of MEP systems.
  • Preferred Chartered Engineer from UK/equivalent or working towards it.
  • Strong domain experience in design of HVAC systems and working knowledge of electrical and public health engineering.
  • Good hands-on skills with 3-D modelling software like Autodesk Revit, and 2D software like AutoCAD.
  • Good Working knowledge of thermal modelling software IES-VE and mechanical load calculation software such as Carrier HAP/Trace.
  • Specifications software like NBS Chorus or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and low and zero carbon interventions for MEP systems.
  • Working knowledge of UK and middle east design codes and standards such as CIBSE, BSRIA, ASHRAE and RIBA design stages, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and interface with clients across different countries on regular basis to secure work and explore new opportunities.
  • Able to adapt to new responsibilities and new software.
  • Green building certifications like LEED/Edge/Well/BREEAM/IGBC-AP are preferred.
