This role will be based in Vaughan, ON.

Your role within the team:

• Plan, coordinate and execute ground investigations for transportation, infrastructure and mining projects.
• Perform subgrade inspections and site supervision of earthworks construction.
• Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation.
• Collaborate with teams to further technological and digital advancement.
• Work on large projects with other groups such and Geomatics, Environment, and Materials Testing and cross-train as required to achieve common goal.
• Adhere to rules and procedures that ensure the health and safety of employees and the environment as well as the prevention of workplace incidents.
• Be proactive in improving HSE policies and procedures to mitigate hazards related to your work.

The ideal candidate:

• Civil Engineering Technology or Geological Engineering Technology diploma and 10+ years of related experience.
• Valid Ontario class G drivers license is a requirement.
• Ability to work and travel throughout Ontario with the potential for out-of-province assignments.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and proven ability to work in a team atmosphere.
