Senior/Principal Consultant - Service Architecture

On the back of significant new business recently won, we are substantially growing our architecture consulting capability and skills portfolio, and in particular, we are looking to significantly expand the scope and scale of our capability in Service Architecture, Service Design & Services Integration. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep understanding of IT centric Service Architecture, Service Design and Service Integration methods, tools and frameworks.  You will have a drive to succeed and deliver excellence, honing your skills and calling upon previous experience as you support our customers.  Additionally, you will have excellent soft-skills, strong stakeholder communication & influencing ability with drive, integrity and openness as your core values.

The key qualities we are looking for are:

• Able to translate business visions, goals, objectives and high-level requirements into Service Architectures & developing cost & service models for large and complex programmes; managing performance and coherent service integration across multi-vendor ecosystems.
• Information systems design, delivery & continual improvement, applying Service Architecture & engineering development methods and tools; calling upon a range of architecture approaches, industry standards and practices (including one or more of: ITIL & SIAM; TOGAF, Zachman, MODAF, NAF, UML, BPMN, ArchiMate; ITSM & Architecture tooling)
• Experience of working within traditional & Agile delivery vehicles
• Ideally, experience working with Central Government, particularly in the Defence or Security and Intelligence sectors and experience across Base/Fixed systems, working to Defence ICT policies, including JSP 604 is highly desirable but not essential
