Responsibilities:

  • Closely working with Project manager for a study of WTE modularization analysis and provide Deliverables to Client.
  • Introduce the principles of modularization.
  • Provide details that show the potential benefits of embracing the modularization philosophy.
  • Preliminary analysis of Modular construction pros and cons based on project information.
  • Conduct and facilitate modularization strategy review meetings.
  • Working with Project manager to assist Client bidding on EPC/DBO project.
  • Uncover potential cost savings/schedule improvement opportunities by using analytical tools.
  • Identify the potential drivers of a modular strategy.
  • Identify the key factors that will influence the success of modular construction.
  • Systematic analysis is used to identify and mitigate relevant obstacles.
  • Develop a modular planning scheme.
  • Feasibility Study Report.

Requirements:

  • Degree or higher in Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
  • With at least 10-15 years of modular experience in Waste-to-energy (WTE) projects.
  • Be able to provide engineering expert opinion for WTE Process equipment and piping, electrical, instruments, etc.
  • Be able to identify the modular opportunities at the assessment and selection phase.
  • Be able to facilitate the reality checks process about modularization on the project.
  • Be able to facilitate the development of modularization feasibility study report.
  • Based on drawings/models, propose and develop modularization strategy.
  • Be able to assess the pains and gains associated with the modularised construction in comparison to the stick build construction.
  • Be able to provide design constructability input during this feasibility study to establish pros and cons in both modularised and stick built construction.
  • Be able to assess advantages/ challenges in implementation of Quality Control during the construction execution in modularise strategy.
  • Provide ad-hoc support all through the modularization feasibility study process with relevant expertise.
