Working closely with our clients, we use our domain expertise and understanding of the physical assets to develop solutions to their challenges, unlocking value from existing data and digital investments.

As well as offering the full range of asset management consultancy services, you’ll join a practice that is proactively embracing new and emerging digital technologies and techniques. You’ll help our clients to make the best decisions to design, build, operate, maintain and dispose of their assets efficiently and effectively — in rapidly-evolving regulatory, economic, and climatic challenges.

The team works across Water, Defence, Aviation, Energy, and Transportation, with clients including the majority of UK Water and Waste Water companies, South Tees Development Corporation, Network Rail, Environment Agency, (EDF) Sizewell C and many others. Our Asset Management approach is recognized globally, where we support the wider AtkinsRéalis business.

Whether starting out or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll help shape and define our Digital Asset Management Strategy while developing a wide range of services to meet our clients’ growing needs and aspirations.

As part of the BioResources team, you’ll sit within the Infrastructure Division’s Asset Management Practice, providing asset management, strategy, regulatory, and technical advice to clients in the UK and abroad.

In recent years, the concept of sewage sludge as a by-product of wastewater treatment has gone from waste that requires disposal to a valuable, renewable resource known as BioResources. It’s an essential, leading-edge sector undergoing a global transformation in regulatory, technological and economic change. Net Zero carbon, zero waste and circularity are driving the direction of the water industry and adjacent sectors, and BioResources management is at the forefront of these ambitions.

Your goals will be to deliver effective outcomes, enable new markets and optimize performance. You’ll build on the company’s expertise, developing a more comprehensive range of services to meet our clients’ needs in the transport, treatment and management of BioResources, helping to define the future of BioResources Management.

Alongside our leads, you could drive strategic initiatives, business change and innovative thinking to support our Net Zero ambitions and COP26 goals — or pioneer innovative treatment technologies, keeping our clients ahead of the curve. You could develop BioRefineries of the future, unlocking the full potential of BioResources in an emerging BioEconomy — or provide regulatory and legislative support to set a more resilient future position for this exciting new sector.

You’ll work in teams that solve our clients’ most complex water network problems by providing data-led insights into the performance of their systems.

The team’s role as Clean Water Network Asset Planners allows us to use our engineering and problem-solving skills to benefit our communities. Working with us, you’ll use complex hydraulic models to simulate and ultimately improve the performance of our clients’ networks so that they can sustainably deliver wholesome water to their customers at the service levels they expect.

You’ll join water specialists who protect community health by ensuring access to clean drinking water. Every completed project is a solution that positively impacts human health while advancing industry best practices. Work across every drinking water solution, from installing wells in rural communities to engineering and building sophisticated seawater desalination complexes in dry climates. You’ll provide sustainable solutions for aging water supply infrastructure, service interruptions, and system leaks. Your work will cover all aspects of water transportation and distribution projects, from designing new pipelines to rehabilitating existing infrastructure.

You’ll be known for delivering against all social, environmental, and economic markers of success. From preliminary design, construction and commissioning studies, you’ll enjoy exposure to every phase, including operations and maintenance.

Join a diverse group of information management and technology delivery professionals helping project teams and clients to drive value by implementing information and technology solutions across the lifecycle of an asset.

We’ll count on you to bring your skills to the mix and take on opportunities that expand your expertise while making a tangible contribution to the business. Whether it’s information management or document control, experience in designing Digital Twins, enterprise asset management and analytics solutions or knowledge of Operations & Maintenance models—your contribution will be valued equally.

You’ll be part of a practice also extensively involved in professional standards development through the IAM, CDBB, and multiple ISO committees focusing on asset information standards and governance.

Managing surface run-off involves much more than designing pipes, pumps, sewers and ditches. As one of our stormwater engineers, you’ll work with clients such as city planners to manage stormwater collection systems by designing cost-effective, energy-efficient solutions that promote biodiversity and mitigate climate change.

Many existing wastewater and stormwater collection networks were not designed for today’s population level or for the changes brought by global warming. You’ll join a team that remains up-to-date on the best technology and environmental scenarios to help cities and municipalities cope with these challenges.

You’ll be on a team that regularly supports asset owners in predicting and preventing system blockages, breakages or flooding. You could carry out network modelling to mitigate issues long before they become problems, build forecasting systems to provide advanced warning of significant flood events, or develop emergency plans to keep communities safe. You’ll work in teams with significant experience in successful surface water management, from strategy to implementation, surface water drainage to flood risk, sustainable drainage systems (SUDS) to water quality and GIS development to engineering design.

You’ll be part of a practice aspiring to provide industry-leading drainage design services across all Transportation Civil Engineering markets and working in multi-disciplinary teams to support Strategic Rail, Strategic Highways, Cities and Development and Local Transport Markets.
