Faithful+Gould are currently looking for an experienced Office Administrator and Secretary to form part of the project team based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The programme is motivated by the need to provide affordable housing for Saudis, but in so doing aspires to impact positively on the non-oil GDP while reducing the local unemployment rate. The primary drivers are to provide 340,000 affordable residential units to be constructed in five new townships across the Kingdom. The development of the townships will include all of the physical and social infrastructure required to create great community environments. A challenging 5 year timescale has been set for achieving the programme.
 
Responsibilities:
  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Project Team
  • Typing reports, minutes, e-mails, letters, faxes etc.
  • Diary management (on Outlook) for Management.
  • Raising orders and checking invoices
  • Scanning documents
  • Photocopying documents and sending faxes
  • Recording incoming and outgoing mail
  • Answering telephone and taking messages for Management
  • Arranging meetings, booking rooms and arranging hospitality
  • Making travel arrangements car hire, flights, hotels
  • Collating and binding of documents
  • Monitoring holiday rotation for the department
  • Filing documents
  • Any other duties as required by Management

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Proven secretarial skills, or appropriate qualification
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel
  • Relevant experience, minimum 3 years
  • Must be highly self-motivated and professional
  • Must contribute and share ideas, and support others
  • Must be able to plan and organise, prioritising own workload
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
