  2. Nuclear
R-124913

Nuclear EMEA is growing rapidly. We’ve grown significantly in the last 5 years and expect to double our revenue over the next five years. As we grow, we need to continue to evolve and transform our business to be ready for what’s to come.

To continue our drive to be the partner of choice for our clients, we are seeking a Commercial Director to inspire and evolve our commercial, risk and procurement function. As we grow, our commercial model has and will continue to evolve to reflect the broader range of products and services we sell.

This role will form part of the Operational Leadership Team and will report to the Operations and Commercial Director.

Your purpose:

You’ll be an accomplished functional leader and experienced commercial professional, able to balance a busy business as usual function, while transforming ready for the future. You will be an integral part of our Operational Leadership team, guiding the way to achieving our long-term strategic goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with client-facing teams to expand revenue and enhance pipelines, focusing on diversifying commercial models for our array of services and products.
  • Enhance our procurement capabilities to align with future pipeline expectations.
  • Assume responsibility for managing and mitigating the business's commercial risk profile, including the oversight of supporting processes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Legal, particularly concerning contract approvals and potential claims.
  • Lead and develop a team of commercial, risk, and procurement professionals (currently 10 FTE).
  • Foster commercial skills and knowledge throughout the organization by providing training and facilitating knowledge sharing.
  • Establish relationships with key leaders across the company to understand and anticipate future demand and requirements for the commercial, risk, and procurement function.

What you can bring:

  • A passion for people and being part of leading a culture where we act with Curiosity, Care, Courage and Community.
  • Proven ability to operate as both a senior leader and commercial expert, with a track record of working successfully with Clients.
  • Demonstrable experience in finding solutions that balance internal risk appetite with evolving client commercial needs, and in executing complex Joint Ventures across company boundaries.
  • Strong collaborative behaviours to drive positive interfaces with other senior leaders, clients, and wider stakeholders, along with a passion for growing a sustainable business and putting the client first.
