Your role within the team:

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Support the adherence to corporate Level of Authority policy and related commercial procedures.
  • Identify areas where the company may be at risk of non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Provide support to employees on policies and procedures to ensure everyone understands their responsibilities and how to comply.
  • Support and coordinate formal reviews with senior leadership.
  • Provide guidance and advice to various departments within the sector on compliance matters related to their respective teams.
  • Assist with special projects or initiatives aimed at strengthening the company's compliance acumen and support business improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that documentation is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible for reference purposes.

The ideal candidate:

  • Business Administration or related educational background with a concentration in (Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Logistics and Operations Management).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in controlling functions, risk management or policy/procedures development roles or any other relevant experience.
  • Excellent written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate and convey compliance related concepts and initiatives in plain language, including experience with working in both operational and corporate context; able to translate complex concepts into easy to understand language.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically and manage tight deadlines while multi-tasking between competing priorities and ensuring high quality of work.
  • Strong process knowledge and significant experience of working with complex systems and/or different business models including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
