Job Overview

The Configuration / Requirements Manager / Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining configuration management plans and procedures. This role involves tracking and controlling changes to project requirements and documentation. Minimum 5-7 years experience in configuration / requirements management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain configuration management plans and procedures.

• Track and control changes to project requirements and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with configuration management standards.

• Coordinate with project teams to manage configuration items.

• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain configuration management databases and tools.

• Provide training and support on configuration management processes.

• Prepare and present configuration management reports.

• Identify and resolve configuration management issues.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in configuration management and requirements engineering.

• Knowledge of configuration management tools and standards (e.g., ITIL, CMMI).

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in configuration management.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with software configuration management tools.

• Prior experience working on a metro / transportation project will be advantageous.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
