Cost Manager - MRICS/Hospitality

To lead our successful pre-contract and measurement team on the RUA Program, we are now seeking to add Cost Manager to join an established professional team, committed to technical integrity, innovation and development of its people.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-contract:

  • Cost Planning and estimating (BCIS and NRM1);

  • Benchmarking Analysis

  • BOQ Pricing

  • Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, Whole Life Costing, risk management.

  • Bills of Quantities production (POMI and CESSM3).

  • Tender services including compilation, tender analysis, negotiations and recommendations.

Post contract:

  • Variations analysis, recommendations and management.

  • Costs analysis project work.

  • Preparation of progress/ cost reports.

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • MRICS status as minimum.  This is non-negotiable.

  • Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised UK university.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ UAE/ international experience.

  • Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 years.

  • Knowledge in the use of QS software COSTX or similar is required.

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
