About the Team
We are looking for Lead Engineer - Project Controls (5-15 years) to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Mumbai, IN.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Responsibility as NEC3/4 Senior Project Control Engineer for larger, more complex global projects relating to highways, rail, infrastructure and other markets; including pre and post project controls.
- Ensure that the Atkins processes are applied from bidding and project set up, through to project execution and closure.
- Prepare process and tools to carry out pricing estimates based on project stakeholders’ input.
- Track and analyze the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, contingencies analysis.
- Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge – specifically Excel, Db and Power BI.
- Excellent in use of Power Query in excel and Power BI.
- Understands large data sets and data cleansing, particularly being able to pick up database / excel queries.
- Construction knowledge would be useful (as we map data to component types so understanding what a boiler is would be a plus but not essential).
- An outline understanding of Doc.Db would be good also.
What will you contribute?
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or related field
- Minimum 6 - 12 years Relevant experience on global UK, Middle East or US projects
- Excellent language, report writing, presentation and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and requirements.
