We are seeking an IT Operations Manager Energy. This position is based out of our Oak Ridge, TN office.

How will you contribute to the team?  

• Monitors Team performance and implement processes to ensure availability, reliability, and efficiency across the IT Organization.

• Collaborates with Cyber Security to establish effective security protocols and implement policies and processes while considering the CIA Triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability) design principles.

• Assists with maturing the organization’s Information Security Operations and participate in the execution of related projects.

• Manages multiple projects and deadlines with strict attention to detail and prioritization.

• Builds effective relationships and partnership with vendors, suppliers, and other external parties.

• Stays up to date with the latest technologies and IT trends.

• Identifies emerging cyber security threats and recommend actions to mitigate risk.

• Effectively communicates and collaborates with Company Divisions, Departments and Business Leadership.

• Assists with development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and execution of plans.

• Participates in Risk Evaluations and approve change requests as part of the change management process.

• Participates in annual Budgeting activities.

• Mentors and trains team members and help them reach their full potential.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?  

• Bachelor's degree required in computer science or related technical discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience in a mid to large size enterprise environment.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations management.

• Must be able to implement the systems, tools and applications required for efficient operations of a corporate network/infrastructure.

• Project management skills with PMI or PMP training and certification desired.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing IT initiatives.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" personnel security clearance.

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

• Knowledge of NIST standards including Special Publication 800-171.

• Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.
