Location – Mississauga, ON

The technician will have to install and configure workstations, software, as well as various peripherals.  The successful candidate will also provide technical support for any incidents or requests that are assigned and participate in different projects related to workstations.

Your role within the team:

• Process and update all assigned user incidents and service requests and meet established deadlines (SLA).
• Provide technical support to users for problems related to the use of the company’s IT systems.
• Diagnose problems with computers or their peripherals and recommend or implement solutions to correct these.
• Train the users in the use of computer equipment, software and other peripherals.
• Perform workstation configuration and delivery according to established procedures.
• Participate in user’s relocation (unplugging workstations, reinstalling, configuring printers, updating client files).
• Perform tests on new installation or deployment procedures.
• Document user support procedures (writing simple processes and training documents) according to the established format.
• Know the user support procedures specific to the various sites covered by the IT group
