Ivanti Neurons ITSM Administrator

Purpose of the Role:

The Ivanti Neurons Administrator is responsible for the operation support for Ivanti IT Service Management platform support key business areas becoming the SME. This role involves managing system configurations, customizations, and integrations to support IT & HR service delivery and optimization. The administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that the Ivanti Neurons ITSM platform meets organizational needs effectively.  We are looking for someone who can be dynamic analysing business process problems and them transforming into defined system configuration within the Ivanti Neurons ITSM system; to solve and improve business services.  A real problem solver.

Key Deliverables/Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain the Ivanti Neurons ITSM platform to support IT service management processes.
  • Customize and configure the Ivanti Neurons ITSM modules (Incident, Request Offering, Problem, Change, Service Catalogue, Asset Management etc).
  • Develop and implement workflows, forms, templates, and business reporting within the Ivanti Neurons ITSM platform according to business requirements.
  • Implement and manage integrations with other IT systems and tools, such as monitoring systems, automation, asset management databases and other business systems.
  • Develop and implement workflows, forms, and reports within the Ivanti platform.
    Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Ivanti Neurons ITSM system.
  • Administer user access, roles, and permissions within the Ivanti ITSM platform.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, carryout application release testing and upgrades within the Ivanti Neurons ITSM platform.
  • Implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability for the wider service across the business for the Ivanti Neurons ITSM platform.
  • Collaborate with IT & HR teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Provide training on the functionalities and support to end-users on how to best use the Ivanti Neurons ITSM platform effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with Ivanti Neurons ITSM product updates, patches, and best practices within the user community.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Align ITSM processes with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices.
    Conduct regular reviews of the ITSM processes and suggest enhancements.

Experience Required:

  • Candidate must have experience in a Service Operations environments or similar within a corporate enterprise organisation.
  • Experience of Ivanti ITSM suite or other similar Service Desk tooling for example Service Now.
  • SQL connectors, structure query language and reporting experience advantage but not essential.

Essential Requirements:

We would expect you to have hands-on experience with:

  • Proficiency in Ivanti ITSM platform administration or similar service desk tooling for large enterprise organisation.
  • Understanding of SQL, scripting, and workflow automation.
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems.
  • Strong data analysis skills to assess system performance and process efficiency.

  • Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements.
  • Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with local and remote teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player.
  • ITIL Fundamentals.
  • Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies.
