Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Junior Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods, high volume/ low dollar catalogue items for various projects and business units.

This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.

Your role within the team:

• Create and Issue non-complex Procurement packages, including Best Commercial, low level QA program requirements, Punchout and pcard.
• Create and Issue Change Orders.
• Interface with Project Team and Requesters.
• Expediting of non-complex goods and services.
• Assisting the Procurement Manager in other procurement related tasks such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Category Management, Spend analysis and KPI, etc.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Post-Secondary education preferred.
• SCMP Designation an asset.
• Some procurement / buying experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products.
