The Project Manager will have primary responsibility for driving the design and construction process and activities of projects.

  • It is the responsibility of the Project Manager to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all relevant processes and activities within the delivery team.
  • PM will oversee the day to day interaction with contractors and consultants and collect and review progress reports.
  • PM will also respond to requests or queries and coordinate with all members of the project team during design and build phase to ensure each Project is progressing, while communicating this to the client and end user.
Position:


Support the delivery team in providing direction and management to a residential villas rollout project. Responsible for supporting technical, safety, time, cost, quality, compliance, monitoring, management and administration across the projects. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Overseeing all facets of design and build processes and activities
  • Producing Contractor recommendation reports to the end user
  • Reviewing the payment application from Contractors
  • Reviewing the Contractors Project Execution Plan (PEP), KPIs and progress reports
  • Responsible in completing the Consultant / Contractor performance rating
  • Leading the end user – Consultant mediation process during handover
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to
  • Provide day to day direction, performance monitoring and management support to the Project Management Team(s) on defined projects
  • Ensure construction proceeds in line with approved design and applicable standards, construction programme and project budget
  • Support the operation of robust contract administration arrangements that underpin efficient delivery of works
  • Liaise with client and contractors on a regular basis and build relationships in parallel with maintaining compliance with formal communication routes
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner

Experience

For manager level positions, a minimum of 10+ years’ experience with at least 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in construction in the Middle East region, including residential villa projects in the UAE. Thorough knowledge of construction guidelines, industry practices and authority regulations.

  • The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree in a construction related discipline and must have worked on residential projects (villas preferred) as a PM or engineer from inception to completion.
  • Arabic speaking professionals preferred.
  • Junior level positions will be recruited on merits and relevant experience, without the need for minimum years’ experience.
