How will you contribute to the team?

Support to project managers or clients' attorneys in the areas of property acquisition, relocation assistance, and property management. Responsible for obtaining property information and for the compilation of documents related to the right-of-way function. Under supervision, represents the client to property owners and real estate professionals.

Job Duties:

• Prepares property owner notification packages for owners and tenants.
• Provides relocation assistance to displaced families and businesses. Assists in the preparation of relocation assistance plans, needs assessment surveys, and relocation assistance offer packages and claims.
• Maintains accurate contact records, verifies title information and prepares support information for lawsuits.
• Participates in the negotiations for the acquisition of real property.
• Performs such other duties as Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

What will you contribute?

• Complexity: Work involves representing the client to property owners and real estate professionals, organizing records, and applying procedures and experience to situations of varying complexity.
• Decision-Making: works under the general supervision of a senior technical professional or manager. Job requires deductive reasoning ability and the consistent exercise of independent judgment in carrying out details of assigned projects.
• Work Direction Given to Others: May give work direction or coordinate the work of technicians and others who assist in specific assignments.

Education and Experience: bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration or other related field. Without a degree, ten years professional experience in real estate, property management, law or other related areas is required.

• Special Skills: strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills required.
• Professional Registration: Licensed by the state's Real Estate Commission preferred.
• Other skills: Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Ability to process paper and electronic documents and operate computer keyboard.  Ability to visit properties and government agency offices. If position requires driving company vehicle, candidate must have valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy.
