Job Title : Senior Document Controller

Reporting to: Operations Support Manager

Location: Vasteras, Sweden

Overview:

As a Senior Document Controller, you lead the Document Controlling process and the Document Management system within Projects.

What will you do?

Acting as the Document Project Manager being the single point of contact regarding the management of the technical plant documentation within the project.

Supporting the project team internally within Linxon, the client and the sub-contractors regarding the technical plant documentation. Ensuring that contractual requirements regarding the documentation are being met and communicated to the different parties within the project.

Document Management System and document flow:

Mastering the document management system and supporting the project organization with related issues.

Managing the flow of documentation within the project as per Linxon and project procedures. Distributing the technical plant documentation to all relevant parties within the project, such as client, sub-contractors and construction sites. Ensuring proper version control in line with Linxon and project procedures.

Training and coaching the project team in the document control system and the documentation requirements. Supporting colleagues with advice and guidance on documentation control issues.

Supporting documents:

Responsible for the Master Document List (MDL) within the project. Ensure that the different parties within the project (both internal and external) are aware of the documentation dedicated to their scope.

Creating and updating the Project Documentation Plan, outlining the document control process specific for the project.

Creating and updating a time schedule for the technical plant documentation; the Document Delivery Plan (DDP). Ensuring that the Linxon project team, sub-contractors and the client are informed of the delivery dates.

Progress updates and document deliverables:

Reviewing, updating and communicating progress to project team on project related activities related to documentation.

Ensuring document deliverables are completed to relevant standard and to defined deadlines and budget.

Continues improvements:

Contributing to process enhancements related to document management.

Experience Required:

• Experience within technical documentation, preferably from EPC business
• Experience with Share point and various document management systems

Education:

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience

• Willingness to learn
• The ability to move things forward using your own initiative
• Approachable, tactful and polite. A good team worker with excellent interpersonal communication skills

Language:

• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English (written and oral).
