Key Responsibilities:

Leadership -

  • Direct the consultants & contractors to ensure that all ELV/ICT work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.

ELV/ICT Design -

  • Developing work plans including ELV/ICT design analysis and design methods to ensure the effective and efficient translation of executive vision for RAM.
  • Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of design development estimated cost related to ELV/ICT activities by identifying unsatisfactory performance areas, and capitalized performance improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee and ensure detailed feedback is provided on consultant and service provider documentation at all stages of the project from initial design to implementation, to ensure all efforts are aligned and projects are compliant with the RAM standards and overall objectives.
  • Implement effective value engineering and scope management techniques for ELV/ICT system to achieve the fore casted budgets without loss of quality and design intent.
  • Monitoring the coordination design phases through coordinating design process with other disciplines in a timely and effective manner as per RAM policies and procedures and project-specific approvals from management.
  • Report on project status and design progress to MEP director.
  • Monitor the progress and completion of the ELV/ICT aspects of projects through their development life cycle to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the project.
  • Ensure international standards and codes (i.e., buildings, health standards, safety, quality, etc.) are in place in all aspects of the projects.
  • Contribute to successful project completion and management by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality.
  • Liaise with local authorities as required.
  • Responsible for design reviews.
  • Participation in design review meetings and workshops. Preparation of meeting records, design review and design progress reports.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the functional systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience requirement - Minimum 12 to15 years (with 8 to10 years’ experience as ELV/ICT lead).
  • Skills requirement - AV/IT, Fire Alarm, BMS/SCADA, CCTV/SMATV, Emergency Lighting, Access Control, Wireless Radio/Data, Parking MGMT System, Intrusion detection, Integrated Intelligent Building Solution and GRMS etc.
