Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensures the overall wellbeing of the buildings, bus stops and other assets by conducting checks and assessing areas regularly.
  • Conduct inspections of the entire buildings, bus stops and other assets to ensure the SP contractor comply with all regulations, safety procedure and operation plan.
  • Highlights all soft and hard services defects when observed.
  • Works towards accomplishing departmental objectives.
  • Meets with manager and team regarding issues within the building.
  • Investigates and resolves issues raised by customers and management.
  • Records all corrective action required for planned maintenance.
  • Inspects and notes quality of maintenance performed.
  • Conducts spot checks on serviced equipment to verify work completion.
  • Reviews architectural and shop drawings for location of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in buildings.
  • Prepares and issues emergency maintenance instructions to appropriate staff.
  • Inspects newly installed equipment for compliance and adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Inspects wells, pools, humidifiers, and cooling towers for required chemical water treatment.
  • Conducts vibration tests on equipment to determine condition.
  • Prioritizes and plans tasks well and completes tasks within set deadlines.
  • Ensures all statutory requirements are fulfilled and up to date.
  • Continuously reviews and resolves all health and safety issues.
  • Uses approved systems and processes to carry out day to day activities.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams during crisis and emergencies at any/all times of incident and reporting the same to respective authorities, whilst escalating the same through established policies and processes.
  • The PMS inspector will review, validate, verify, and approve all the work completed by the TFM Contractors'

Qualification and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management or equivalent experience in a discipline which compliments the functions of this role.
  • Minimum 4 years professional experience.

Mandatory Skills

  • Able to work outside for extended periods of time, and covering different shifts.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with customers.
  • Strong problem analysis, solving and research skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and precisely (written & oral).
  • Must be punctual, organized, motivated and meticulous, with multitasking abilities.
  • A good level of spoken and written English language
  • A good level of spoken and written Arabic language would be an advantage

Additional Notes

Ability to interpret construction codes, Maintenance Codes, conduct on-site inspections of all types of properties in a variety of conditions and environments; and work professionally with diverse populations in potentially demanding situations.
