Jo Page has been at  AtkinsRéalis, for nine years, having joined as a graduate back in 2012. She's a Principal Consultant in Aerospace, Defence, Security & Technology (ADS&T) in the Business Consulting & Transformation practice. In her role, she works with clients to deliver transformational change projects.

I'm really excited to play a role in that growth, working on exciting projects with clients in the region and helping recruit great new talent into our business. We're recruiting at all levels across several different technical areas, so there's a great wealth of opportunity for a broad range of people.

What's the work like in Manchester?

We have a broad variety of projects to get involved with at AtkinsRéalis in Manchester. Our current Manchester-based consultants work on projects ranging from digital transformation for government clients to security in aviation. 

Our key clients are in our Security, Intelligence and Government, Critical National Infrastructure and Defence markets. We have a collection of clients we have been trusted partners to for a number of years and new clients who value our fresh perspectives.

How will my work make a difference?

Manchester is a key focus area of growth and new development for our clients. Their plans to continually expand and establish themselves in the city mean the scope and breadth of work we're exposed to will only increase. Ultimately the work we do for these clients keeps the world moving forward. We're also big on expertise but not on hierarchy. So, you'll be trusted with more direct responsibility for your projects faster.

What does the team do when not at work?

We really value our colleagues and recognize the importance of thriving together and fostering the inclusive culture ADS&T is known for. In Manchester, we're making sure that we grow together in a collaborative and supportive way. 

Our city-centre office on New York Street has a great location too. It's close to some of Manchester's best restaurants and nightlife and easily accessible from major train stations. So the team really enjoys organizing regular socials to get to know each other better.

As a newcomer to Manchester, what are your first impressions?

I've recently moved from London to Manchester and I’m already enjoying getting to know the city better. Manchester is known for its community spirit and lively personality, with so much to see and do. It has an incredibly vibrant culture, and there's a lot to keep me entertained here I'm discovering!
