Role Summary
 

An opportunity is now available for an Administrator / Receptionist to provide a professional, client focused reception service at our Sydney office. You will act as the first point of contact to all clients/visitors entering the building, and advising relevant staff members, while also providing ad-hoc administration support to our business support team.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

• Respond to internal and external telephone queries.

• Receive, direct and deliver telephone messages, update phone records; open and date stamp all general correspondence/mail as needed.

• Answer the switchboard in an efficient and professional manner and  pass  on messages as required.

• Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as required.

• Deal with all incoming and outgoing mail.

• Assist in the ordering of all stationery for the company including corporate stationery.

• Ensure requests for action or information are relayed to the appropriate person.

• Arranging meetings - inviting attendees, booking rooms, catering and preparing/circulating document packs.

• Support to other Administrators when required (including annual leave cover).

• Co-ordinating onboarding for new starters in Sydney and across all Australia offices working directly with HR & IT.

• Help coordinate / compile / format regular reports or documents as required.

Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities
 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• A willingness to learn new skills and serve as support in a number of capacities.

• A dedicated team player with proven interpersonal and communication skills.

• A self-starter with the ability to work both in a team and independently.

• Analytical problem-solving skills.

• The ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.

• Prior administrative and reception experience is an asset.
