Job Title: Document Controller

Job Description:

As a Document Controller at KSA Atkins Site Ops, your primary responsibility will be to manage and control all project-related documents and records using Aconex software. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized flow of information within the project team, adhering to industry standards and project-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Management:

  • Utilize Aconex software to create, update, and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all documents and records.

Document Control:

  • Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures in compliance with project guidelines and industry standards.

  • Distribute documents to project stakeholders as per the approved distribution matrix.

  • Maintain a centralized document repository for easy access and retrieval of information.

Version Control:

  • Monitor document revisions and maintain a clear version history.

  • Ensure that the latest revisions of documents are readily available to the project team.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular quality checks on documents to verify their compliance with established standards.

  • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.

Communication:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to facilitate document-related communication.

  • Respond to inquiries and requests for documents in a timely manner.

Reporting:

  • Generate and provide regular reports on document control activities and progress to project management.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to project team members on the use of Aconex software and document control procedures.

Data Security:

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive project information.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.

  • Proficiency in Aconex software is a must.

  • Strong knowledge of document control principles and best practices.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

  • Saudi Arabian work permit or residency is preferred.

  • Only Saudi Nationals might apply.
