Job Overview

Linxon is on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Field Installation Engineer to join our exceptional team. As a Field Installation Engineer at Linxon, you will be at the forefront of transforming ideas into reality, working on projects that power the future.

Responsibilities:

On-Site Excellence:

  • Take the lead in overseeing the on-site installation activities for Extra High Voltage/High Voltage AIS & GIS substations.

  • Ensure the seamless integration of equipment, systems, and components, contributing to the successful completion of EPC projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs to life and troubleshoot any on-site challenges.

Technical Prowess:

  • Apply your expertise in Extra High Voltage/High Voltage AIS & GIS projects to deliver technical solutions that meet Linxon's high standards and customer expectations.

  • Conduct field tests and inspections, ensuring the highest quality in every aspect of the installation process.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to contribute fresh ideas to project teams.

Collaborative Ingenuity:

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a harmonious collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Safety First:

  • Champion a safety-first mindset, ensuring all on-site activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

  • Promote a culture of safety awareness, empowering the team to make safety a top priority.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience in field installation roles, with a focus on Extra High Voltage/High Voltage AIS & GIS substations.

  • Strong knowledge of substation equipment, systems, and components.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Enthusiastic and collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering excellence.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with automation and control systems.

  • Experience with PLC programming.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

  • Certifications in relevant technical fields.
