The FP & A Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, including monthly management reporting, the annual budgeting process and providing accurate and timely analysis to support key business decisions. The Financial Analyst will be an effective business partner with corporate leadership. The role will also support ongoing integration activities, strategic planning and corporate development when required.

This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Prepares monthly/quarterly/annual account and variation analyses
  • Monthly reconciliation of accounts
  • Collaborates with the other information for the collection and analysis for the forecast and budget
  • Participate in the preparation of financial analysis tools together with the Corporate FP&A team
  • Prepares analysis reports and uploads the information into the reporting system
  • Requests, collects, analyzes data and prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Identify and participate in the implementation of ways to improve the reports and analyzes used
  • Prepares and uploads accounting notes for reallocations of corporate costs
  • Prepares and uploads accounting notes for corporate cost estimates
  • Prepares and uploads accounting notes for reallocations of expenses paid in advance
  • Approve the coding of the document (invoices) in the system
  • Responsible for compliance with deadlines and specific reporting requirements to the Group
  • Responds to the various requests sent to the Corporate FP&A team and participates in the preparation of the requested reports;
  • Pro-actively find and solve issues and 'new' actuals requiring actions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance (monthly reporting) or Financial planning and analysis (budgeting, forecasting)
  • Solid understanding of accounting practices and principles
  • Accuracy, detail-oriented, with good organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong technical & analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Self-motivated, high initiative and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility
  • Strong business partnering skills
  • Innovation, creativity and project ownership
  • Team player
  • Customer focused
  • Oracle (ERP) knowledge would be a plus
  • Candidate based in Romania
  • Proficiency in English and Romanian
