Framework Manager – Local Transport Market (UK Wide)

Our Transportation division is seeking a number of Contract/Framework Managers to support our Local Authority professional services contracts across the UK Market. Having achieved exciting and sustained growth across our Local Transport sector we’re now looking for people to join our client development and delivery teams to lead the attainment of our goals; happy clients, great assets, and unlocking our further growth potential.

Our growth has been built on our excellent service and the expertise of our people. We have long term contracts with local authorities such as Gloucestershire, Surrey, Lancashire and Cambridgeshire. TFGM and Combined Authorities are also amongst our clients.

As a Contract/Framework Manager you’ll be involved in:

  • Maintaining long term and durable collaborative partnerships with our Local Authority clients to yield significant benefits for our Client, for Atkins and other involved parties.
  • Embedding a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous improvement in the management of the multi-disciplinary delivery teams and support services.
  • Ensuring a strong commercial and technical performance, securing contract extensions and a position of provider of choice for future contract procurement.

Could you be our next Framework Manager?

You’ll have experience of managing transportation accounts and projects within a region, including furthering existing and building new client relationships across all modes. You’ll draw upon your proven track record to lead accounts / projects for or on behalf of local or national transport and other government bodies.

In addition, you’ll -

  • Continually strive to improve the business value proposition and develop knowledge and expertise of the team.
  • Help to develop new business opportunities whilst deepening key client understanding and relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvements and delivery excellence to specialist / technical professions.
  • Candidates are expected to come from either project or programme management, cost consultancy or engineering technical backgrounds. Communities are at the heart of our work. Together, our people are proud to be working towards a Net Zero Carbon future and regenerating cities across the UK.

Requirements:

  • Engineer / Transport Planner, MICE, MCIHT or equivalent.
  • Extensive contract/framework management experience in the Local Authority/Transport Market, including expanding scope and services provided.
