The Project Manager will be responsible for project delivery by applying a proper and effective management and development management tools, ensuring successful delivery, to the satisfaction of the client, on time, to quality and scope during engagement.

Scope of Work

  • Preparing the strategic, developmental and operational plans of the ministry in its various stages.

  • Supervising the follow-up of the implementation of strategic plans, five-year and operational development plans of the ministry in its various stages, evaluating them and proposing appropriate amendments.

  • Propose follow-up and evaluation methodologies.

  • Propose the most important global developments in the field of digital transformation.

  • Develop a clear analytical plan to raise the Sultanate's international and national indicators in various fields in which the ministry contributes.

  • Analyzing the performance indicators of the ministry and its affiliated personnel through follow-up and making periodic reports indicating the extent of achievement or failure in the indicators, and identifying aspects of development.

  • Develop short-term and long-term plans as needed in order to develop innovative solutions to problems related to the organization.

  • Training and qualification of relevant employees to keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices in his fields of competence.

  • Carry out the other tasks assigned to him related to the sectors of the ministry.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Academic Qualifications:

  • A master's degree or equivalent specialization (project management) or any related field.

Work Experience:

  • Practical experience in performing similar work not less than (10) years in areas directly related to the scope of work.

  • Skills, Professional certificates & Competencies Required/Know How:

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.

  • Excellent Negotiation, Communication and Presentation Skills.

  • Excellent, organization and management skills.

  • Excellent in Projects management, planning and costing skills.

  • Excellent Leadership skills.

  • Excellent in interpersonal and relationship skills.

  • Excellent in Decision Making Skills.

Internal: Management, department teams, contractors, consultants.

External: Government authorities, Private Sector, Investors and External stakeholders.
