Collaborating with technical teams across AtkinsRéalis, you will work to drive digital development and adoption to solve some of our client's biggest challenges.  You will be pivotal in enabling technical best practice, knowledge sharing and innovation. It is a role that brings together technical expertise with the good skills required to develop strong relationships externally and internally.

You should have experience of digital product and tool development, from inception through adoption and implementation, through to support and maintenance, with demonstrable benefit for clients. Key objectives of the role:

  • Working directly with clients, as well as internally with market leaders and client directors, to understand client problems and identify and deliver technically feasible and commercially viable solutions.
  • Leading the successful delivery of tasks and projects from inception to handover, meeting quality, time, and budget requirements.
    Support major bids pushing our digital propositions to create compelling offers.
  • Lead the delivery of new user-friendly tools and products on projects for our clients.
  • Work with subject matter experts and technical leads at tender stage for key frameworks and major projects, to identify digital delivery approaches that provide competitive advantage to our proposals.
  • Raising the profile of digital innovation in AtkinsRéalis Environment.
    Generating successful proposals that meet client needs and lead to technically and commercially successful work.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Joining a well-established and successful team, you will collaborate with existing digital, technical and market leads to win work, deliver work, create new tools and solutions, and maintain personal billability. You will also:

  • Engage with, and work within the digital strategy of AtkinsRéalis, assisting colleagues in the Environment practice navigate its principles and share knowledge and best practice.
  • Direct and lead digital development and adoption on a major projects, co-ordinating inputs from colleagues.

What you’ll bring:

  • An established knowledge of environmental disciplines and digital solutions, bringing unique expertise and network or clients and project partners.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and regulators.
  • Robust financial and programme management delivery skills.
  • A degree and preferably a higher degree in sustainability or a relevant technical discipline (e.g., geography, environmental science, climate science, environmental economics, or engineering) or equivalent.
  • A track record of leading technical business development and growth; developing and maintaining strong networks.

We offer a competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants with a default 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy some or sell of that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
