Job Title: Global Business Services Process Improvements Lead

The Global Business Services Centre (GBS) is responsible for providing seamless process accounting services, reconciliation, project budgeting, purchase orders on Oracle ERP platform with a long-term vision of value-added services in the field of statutory financials finalization, audits, tax filing and related areas of governance. Such processes would be AR, AP, Collection and Payments accounting, GL accounting/ reconciliation, FA accounting, FX Revaluation Projects budgeting and forecasting updates, release of PRQ, Purchase Orders etc.  The Shared services shall cater to different HUBs in different time zones – India, Europe, Nordics, Middle East and North Americas as per their requirements. The Shared Services Centre consolidates administrative functions to deliver them in a cost-effective manner, promoting operational efficiencies and service improvements.

What will you do?

  • Oversees service delivery and the day-to-day operations of the GBS, ensuring that all standards are met, and procedures are followed. Preparing schedules monthly, weekly, daily for a seamless operations ensuring that processes run timely, efficiently, accurately to support Business and Operational needs across HUBs.
  • Business process mapping and business process reengineering using process improvement methods
  • Provide expertise in recommending, influencing, facilitating organizational business processes and process changes
  • Develops and implements new work methods and procedures for the GBS to improve efficiency and process improvement in consultation with all HUBs on a continuous basis.
  • Oversees and ensures the smooth functioning of information systems required to deliver the services and the definition and implementation of changes required to maintain the systems operational and fit for purpose. Continuous engagement with IT responsible will be required.
  • Process transformation projects leading to the creation of new processes, improved business outcomes, and improved digital experience in line with emerging market trends.
  • Understand the end-to-end process, define the transformational goal, focus on identifying the non-value-added activities and bring operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to build GBS’s vision, roadmap into Future Forward initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Experience, Education and other Required:

  • CA (Chartered Accountant) from ICAI qualification is added advantage. CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) from ICMAI / MBA (Finance) from an Institute of repute shall be considered for deserving candidate.
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) / CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) from ICMAI / MBA (Finance) from an Institute of repute shall be considered for deserving candidate.
  • Post qualification experience in Shared Services of 8 to 10 years.
  • Hands-on experience and expert level knowledge in reengineering the business processes
  • Exposure and skills in financial business processes, technology, digital transformation and business process
  • Deep knowledge of Statistical analysis and BI tools like Excel Query, PowerBI, etc..
  • Ability to continuously engage and connect within team, with HUBs extensively to keep pulse on the requirements.
  • Hands-on, “can do” mentality – positive thinking, ability to positively contribute
  • Ability to learn and adapt as per needs.
  • Spoken and written high level proficiency of English language is must. Knowledge of Foreign languages would be an added advantage.
