What will you do?

In your role as Installation Manager, you will report to the Head of Operations within Linxon Sweden and will be responsible for the installation department and overall project installation activities managing a team of Site Managers and Site Installation Supervisors. You will play a vital role in the organization taking care of the following duties and responsibilities: 

  • Installation Department manager with personnel responsibility of all Site Managers and Installation Supervisors.
  • Overall responsible for the project's high voltage installation works, e.g. HV equipment for AC substations in the range of 130kV – 400kV.
  • Take responsibility within your department for the Installation package during the tendering stage (such as estimate and price calculation for the installation works, preparing RFQ documentation, evaluating quotations form subcontractors, etc.).
  • Responsible for subcontracting of the installation package within the allocated project budget.
  • Work with Supply Chain Management for procurement of subcontractors.
  • Close follow-up of ongoing projects and handle site challenges together with Site Mangers and subcontractors during the execution of project.
  • Ensure proper reporting and record keeping for daily, weekly and monthly progress.
  • Close collaboration with all departments, particularly the Project Managers.
  • Resource planning of site managers to be allocated for the different projects and provide necessary support to the site management team
  • Develop and improve procedures and QA-processes to ensure delivery in accordance with electrical safety, HSE and quality standards on time and within budget.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in High Voltage Substation business.
  • Deep understanding and good grip on High Voltage Installation activities.
  • Have experience of subcontracting and procurement of subcontractors for installation works.
  • Basic knowledge of different contract types such as ABT-04 & ABT-06.
  • Advantage if you have worked as Site Manager in the past.
  • Speaking English and Swedish fluently.
