We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project Director to lead and manage large-scale projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both consultancy and site operations, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the UAE. This role demands a strategic leader who can effectively oversee project execution, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project strategies that align with client objectives and company goals. Ensure project scopes, budgets, and schedules are well-defined and adhered to.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Address and resolve client concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Ensure that all team members are clear on their roles, responsibilities, and project goals.
  • Site Operations: Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. Address any site issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Consultancy Expertise: Provide expert guidance on consultancy services, including design, engineering, and project management. Ensure that consultancy deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress to stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 20 to 25 years of progressive experience in project management, with significant experience in consultancy and site operations. Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within the UAE.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, MRICS) is preferred.
  • UAE Experience: Demonstrated experience working in the UAE market, with a deep understanding of local regulations, standards, and industry practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to navigate and adapt to the cultural and business environment of the UAE.
