SCM Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated SCM Engineer. This role sits within our Supply Chain Management team. The purpose of the role is to provide a continuous verification and analysis of the complete Linxon prequalified vendors globally, identifying potential risks and keeping Linxon vendor list updated after the prequalification process has been successfully completed.

What will you do?

Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):

  • Checking correctness of invoices supporting documents received by suppliers, making sure the invoices follow Linxon guidelines given to the suppliers.
  • Checking if mandatory supporting documents are transmitted by the suppliers along with the invoices submitted.
  • Checking if the invoice amount matches with PO milestone payment.
  • Creation of work confirmation in Linxon ERP system (Oracle).
  • Verification of prequalification documents provided by the suppliers during onboarding process.

Experience, Education and Other Requirement:

  • Minimum Engineering Graduate, CIPS qualification (or equivalent), and applicable experience or 5 + years’ experience in lieu of qualification.
  • 5 years’ work experience in supply chain, accounting, or finance department.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle as ERP system
  • Occasional travel may be required inside and outside of the country
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to think outside the box and move things forward using own initiative.
  • Ability to drive through change.
  • Focused on the detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across the business whilst embracing cultural differences
