Security Lead

Successful candidates will be based out of our Rutherford House (Whitehaven) office delivering high hazard decommissioning working as part of a multi-discipline team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in security for the AtkinsRéalis Westlake’s office.
• Provide security consultancy services to clients as required.
• Support projects, frameworks, and bids as the security stakeholder.
• Provide a consistent approach to security, including the implementation of client specific procedures.
• Liaise effectively with our clients and regulators to build positive working relationships.
• Provide an experienced focal point of contact for all matters associated with security for our clients and business head.
• Lead, support and arrange training for local Security Points of Contact (SPoC), act as a mentor and manage an appropriate training regime to ensure SPoCs have a consistent approach to support to the teams and can provide support to other locations as required
  Promote security awareness and compliance competence for local office and provide support to other locations as required.
• Promote Security Incident reporting and act as a focal point for incidents
  Act as Security Controller for the local office and be responsible for local classified holdings
  Provide an experienced local focal point of contact for all matters associated with ISO 27001 (ISMS).
• Participate in client and third-party audits.
• Act as deputy to the N&P Security Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field or relevant practical experience.
• One or more recognised Information Security qualifications such as Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ISO27001 Lead Auditor/Implementor or similar.

Experience & Skills:

• Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to gain people’s trust and find a pragmatic balance between business and security requirements.
• Security experience of large projects in the Critical National Infrastructure space (e.g., nuclear, energy, rail, water etc.).
• Proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing roles and priorities within a fast-paced consultancy environment.
