We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Projects Manager to join our Project Delivery Practice based in Riyadh, delivering projects in KSA and the wider Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects, influence the growth and development of the project management team and progress in their career. 

You will also be responsible for the bidding and delivery of our transport projects to time, cost and quality throughout their project lifecycle, from tender to closeout. 

Responsibilities: 

• Providing project leadership either as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager on multidisciplinary transport projects. 

• Ensuring these projects meet business revenue, profit and cash-flow expectations. 

• Portfolio Management. 

• Working Closely with the Regional Practice Lead and Regional Heads to shape and deliver Transportation Projects in the Region. 

• Ensuring bids and projects are appropriately resourced and taking a Bid leadership role on selective pursuits. 

• Contributing to the bid preparation and work winning process with focus on ensuring the deliverability of the tendered works. 

• Creating a community of Transport project managers to develop a consistent approach to delivery and to share best practice and learnings. 

• Mentoring of staff and being the lead for Transport project management in the office. 

• Coordinating with the practice managers who provide resource into Transport projects to support the planning of resource capacity to meet future needs. 

• Developing and maintaining client relationships to support project delivery performance and maximise potential for project extensions and new work. 

• Achieving a defined personal productivity target for yourself and your team through involvement in these projects. 

• Ensuring compliance with Business Management, HSE and Quality procedures. 

• Maintaining your knowledge of current planning, design, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications: 

• Degree qualified in relevant field

• MSc and / or chartered status (preferred)

Experience and Skills :

• Must have a minimum of degree in planning or transportation and over ten years related professional work experience after university graduation.

• Experience in delivering transportation projects within a multi-disciplinary technical environment.

• Competency in a range of transportation planning skills including development planning principles, access control, functional planning, public transport issues, temporary traffic management, pedestrian and non-motorised transportation issues, and transport demand theory.

• Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with clients so that AtkinsRéalis’ commercial objectives are protected and met. 

• Experience of the management of a project portfolio. 

• Good understanding of Planning & Design procedures, change control, checking, and Review requirements. 

• Experience of leading large multidisciplinary teams.
