We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Deputy South Central Regional Business Development & Strategy (BD&S) Director to be based in Austin, Dallas or San Antonio, Houston, Texas.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned veteran or an ambitious self-starter to be a key contributor to growth and expansion of our operations in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. You will report to our South Central Regional BD&S Director and be a key face of the company, brand ambassador, and lead for strategic growth and expansion of our full infrastructure services throughout the states of Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma focused primarily on public sector clients including: cities and counties, ports, water authorities, rail and transit, and federal agencies and also drive our continued growth in the region focused on power, industrial, and healthcare markets.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Responsible for growth supporting our South Central Regional BD&S Director and collaborating with company leadership to develop and execute strategic and tactical business plan for the region.

• Establishes, nurtures and grows client relationships and serves as client manager for select clients.

• Lead and participate in key pursuits and teaming strategies.

• Represent and promote the company at networking events, professional and industry associations, society meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.

• Assist with organic growth by identifying and recruiting strategic hires to win and deliver work in the region.

• Possess broad market awareness and provides market and competitive analysis.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, science, construction or engineering or related field or 15+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

• 10+ years of business development in the AEC industry.

• Broad knowledge of infrastructure markets in the region.

• Knowledge of and relationships with local governments and private sector entities and the consulting community in the market.

• Self-starter requiring limited oversight.

• Strategic thinker but focused on tactical execution.

• Effective team building and collaboration skills with ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.

• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

• Knowledge and experience in the pursuit of alternative delivery opportunities including design-build; CMAR; and P3s.

• Existing relationships with other consulting firms and contractors to facilitate teaming.

• Affiliations with professional societies and active industry and community involvement.
