We are seeking a Director IT Governance and Compliance to join our IT Support team in Tampa, FL.

The Director IT Compliance role has a global mandate to ensure alignment of the Corporate and IT strategy while providing oversight and guidance on Technology Risks across Corporate functions. Responsibilities include developing IT compliance strategy and roadmap, establishing a robust governance model to ensure AtkinsRéalis’ Senior Leadership is kept abreast of regulatory/compliance technology risks, operational efficiency & health of services delivered by IT Services, providing guidance over a multi-faceted and complex IT ecosystem, and preparing the organization to a future reliance model and IT certification.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Lead the transformation of the organization into a holistic corporate compliance model.
  • Develop strategies, visions, and the overall governance model ensuring that IT enables and adds values to the business.
  • Evolve and prepare the IT control framework to a future reliance model.
  • Build and manage relationship with key business stakeholders to ensure an all-round vision, support, and engagement.
  • Update steering committees on key initiatives progress status, remediations/milestones, and roadblocks.
  • Lead programs for control automation, standardization, business optimization, and compliance by design
  • Enable the business by enhancing and automating compliance reporting capabilities.
  • Engage and align IT objectives with information security's (e.g., business certifications)
  • Monitor, evaluate, and advise on IT resources impact resulting from control assurance activities including compliance with SOX/ICFR, SOC I/II, CSAE 3416, ISO 27001.
  • Support relevant regulatory and internal/external audit examinations/audits in the business.
  • Work with internal/external auditors and business stakeholders to ensure effective governance and internal controls model is in place, IT risks are managed within risk appetite, and audit outputs are addressed correctly and timely.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and best-practice changes to further identify new key IT risk areas.
  • Recommend new changes to policies, standards, and guidelines to maintain currency in ensuring relevance to emerging technologies, delivery models, and overall IT risks.
  • Elaborate training and awareness channels to ensure alignment with overall IT roadmap and key initiatives.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Bachelors degree preferably at master’s level in the fields of Technology, Cyber, Business, or Law.
  • 10-15 years of progressively growth and work experience.
  • CRISC, CISA, CDPSE, ISO27001, or other Information Security Certifications.
  • Strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities and vision.
  • Extensive IT risk and compliance management experience.
  • Extensive internal audit experience.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to Steering Committees and Senior Leadership.
  • Ability and proven experience in leading complex programs and projects.
  • Experience in working in a global organization with business footprint across different sectors and regions.
  • Ability to develop and lead a high-performing global teams supporting IT and Corporate functions globally.
  • Soft skills to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
  • Experience in working with, managing, and responding to regulators, auditors, and clients on matters related to IT risk obligations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
