Job Title: Electrical Inspector

Job Description:

The Site Operations Electrical Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and equipment on site comply with relevant standards and regulations. They will inspect and test electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify and address any issues or faults.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and tests of electrical installations and equipment on site
• Ensure compliance with local and international electrical standards and regulations
• Identify and report any electrical faults or issues, and make recommendations for repair or replacement
• Verify the quality of electrical workmanship and materials used on site
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings
• Collaborate with site supervisors and contractors to ensure that electrical work is completed to schedule and budget
• Provide guidance and support to site personnel on electrical safety procedures and practices
• Attend regular meetings with project management teams to report on progress and address any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience as an electrical inspector in a consultancy or engineering environment
• Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
