Learning and Talent Development Manager

Objective:

  • We are looking for a Learning and Talent Development Manager to Impact the development and engagement of employees and management L&TD across the region to support business delivery and growth. The preference for this role is to be based in KSA, however, UAE is possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively with HR team to gain an understanding of priority people development needs for managers and employees across all business sectors and projects.
  • Interact effectively with key stakeholders across the organization to partner on relevant Talent/ L&D initiatives.
  • Roll out of key Corporate Leadership Development programs across the region such as Manager Essentials, Building People Leaders, Senior Leadership Development Program and Project Management Development Program.
  • Support in customizing and facilitating learning interventions for certain stakeholder groups where needed.
  • Building relationships with international and regionally based external L&D partners.
  • Own the Annual People Process deployment end to end in the region, partnering with the corporate L&TD team, and regional HR teams for roll out and training.
  • Supporting the business in successfully running talent management programmes by identifying key talent, creating effective succession plans, and monitoring the execution.
  • Lead with Head of L&TD Engagement roll out and action planning for various sectors across the region.
  • Act as a point of contact and manage regional mentoring initiatives to foster professional development and growth among employees.
  • Represent the region and function in global L&TD projects.
  • Partner with the MEA Technical Excellence Team to drive professional development initiatives and enhance technical skills and expertise within the region.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or communications discipline
  • Further HR certification is a plus.
  • 8-12 years’ work experience, with at least 5 years in an L&D/Talent role.
  • Highly motivated
  • Results oriented.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a matrix structure.
  • Training content development/ facilitation skills
  • Self-starter.
  • Resourceful and Innovative
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
  • Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Ability to work and deliver under pressure.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Competent in MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
