We are looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer to work on a variety of transportation related structural engineering projects across the US from our hub office in Henderson, NV.

Senior Structural Engineers participate in a wide range of exciting projects by leading design for simple and complex bridges, tunnels, culverts, retaining walls, overhead gantries, other structures on highway, transit, rail, airport, and trail projects. Also leading the design for water resource structures such as reservoir, reinforced concrete boxes and pipes for water conveyance, etc. These positions report to the Technical Manager for the region.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Defines scope of project, with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and executing project assignments.
• Selects problems for investigation, developing novel approaches and solutions to technical problems.
• Conducts quality control checks, reviewing calculations, designs, evaluations, and specifications developed by design staff for accuracy and completeness, performing on-site inspections and reviews, and conducting or overseeing remedial design work.
• Keeps abreast of state-of-the-art methods and developments in area of specialization.
• Recommends changes or improvements to plans and programs.
• May function as the project manager for routine to semi-complex projects. Responsibilities may include supporting the following: marketing, negotiating contracts, budgeting, financial management, schedule coordination and resources allocation.
• Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

What will you contribute?

• BS or MS in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• 7-10+ years of relevant experience.
• PE License Required.
• SE License Preferred.
• DOT experience is required.
• Exceptional communication skills.
