How will you contribute to the team?

  • Developing SCADA maps RTUs in compliance with utility client standards.
  • Supporting the testing and communications in the SCADA/EMS system.
  • Knowledge of electronic and automation functions, including digital protection.
  • Knowledge of IEC 61850.
  • Knowledge of communication protocol, especially DNP.
  • Knowledge of SCADA Systems, manufacturers & equipment.
  • Knowledge of communications – digital radio & fiber optics.
  • Experience with electrical substation, substation equipment and power grids.

What will you contribute?

  • An Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
  • P.E. License not required, but preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation, digital, relay or utility engineering.
  • Knowledge of codes and standards such as IEEE and ANSI, including OH&S Regulations, NERC, and FERC regulations.

Expected compensation range is between $72,000 - $98,000 USD Annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
