Spécialiste Senior de la Paie
Votre rôle au sein de l’équipe
Au sein de l’équipe de la paie Canadienne, vous relèverez du Superviseur de la paie et vous aurez à :
- Superviser l'administration de la paie multi-provinciale pour diverses entités et systèmes, en assurant l'alignement stratégique et la conformité avec les normes réglementaires.
- Fournir des conseils d'expert sur des pratiques de paie complexes, en restant à la pointe des tendances de l'industrie et des changements législatifs.
- Diriger la résolution de problèmes de paie sophistiqués pour tous les intervenants, y compris les agences gouvernementales.
- Assurer une conformité rigoureuse et aligner la paie avec les politiques internes, les réglementations externes et les meilleures pratiques.
- Superviser le traitement détaillé de la paie, en garantissant l'exactitude des gains, des déductions et des calculs des avantages.
- Superviser le calcul et le traitement des paiements finaux, y compris la conformité avec les réglementations de cessation d'emploi et de licenciement.
- Gérer des cas complexes de saisies sur salaires, de pensions alimentaires et de retenues divers.
- Diriger l'administration des cotisations syndicales, des plans de pension, d'épargne-retraite et de plans d'achat d'actions pour les employés.
- Coordonner la gestion des arriérés d'assurance pendant les congés.
- Encadrer et diriger les membres de l'équipe de paie, en favorisant une culture d'amélioration continue et de développement professionnel.
- Fournir des conseils d'expert et un soutien au personnel de paie dans la gestion de problèmes complexes et à fort impact.
- Piloter des initiatives pour améliorer l'efficacité de l'équipe, le partage des connaissances et l'optimisation des processus.
- Diriger le traitement de fin d'année, en assurant la conformité avec les réglementations fiscales et en répondant aux requêtes complexes.
- Agir en tant que principal point de contact pour les audits internes et externes, représentant les opérations de paie.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des politiques et procédures liées à la paie, en garantissant la conformité et l'excellence opérationnelle.

Le/la Spécialistesenior de la paie recherché(e)
- Licence ou Master en Administration des Affaires, Finance ou domaine connexe ; un diplôme de collège en administration est également acceptable.
- Minimum de 8 ans d'expérience dans le traitement et la gestion de la paie, avec une expérience significative dans un rôle de leadership.
- Certification PCP ou CPM de l'Association Canadienne de la Paie, ou équivalent.
- Bilingue en français et en anglais, avec d'excellentes compétences en communication.
- Maîtrise avancée des logiciels de paie, de la suite Microsoft Office et d'Oracle.
- Solides compétences analytiques, avec un esprit stratégique et des capacités de résolution de problèmes.
- Capacité démontrée à diriger, collaborer et conduire le changement au sein d'une équipe.
- Compétences organisationnelles exceptionnelles, attention aux détails, avec un focus stratégique sur le service client.
- Capacité à gérer des informations sensibles et confidentielles avec la plus grande discrétion.

Senior Payroll Specialist
Your role within the team
As a member of the Canadian Payroll team, you will report to the Supervisor Payroll and be responsible for:
- Oversee the administration of multi-provincial payroll across various entities and systems, ensuring strategic alignment and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide expert guidance on complex payroll practices, staying ahead of industry trends and legislative changes.
- Lead the resolution of sophisticated payroll issues for all stakeholders, including government agencies.
- Ensure rigorous compliance and alignment of payroll with internal policies, external regulations, and best practices.
- Supervise detailed payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in earnings, deductions, and benefit calculations.
- Oversee the calculation and processing of final payments, including compliance with termination and severance regulations.
- Manage complex cases of garnishments, child support, and alimony payments.
- Lead the administration of union dues, pension plans, retirement savings, and employee stock purchase plans.
- Coordinate insurance arrears management during leaves of absence.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date, compliant payroll procedures and documentation.
- Mentor and lead payroll team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Provide expert guidance and support to payroll staff in handling complex and high-impact issues.
- Drive initiatives to enhance team efficiency, knowledge sharing, and process optimization.
- Advanced Compliance and Reporting:
- Lead year-end processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and addressing complex queries.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, representing payroll operations.
- Develop and implement payroll-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; a college diploma in Administration is also acceptable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in payroll processing and management, with significant experience in a leadership role.
- PCP or CPM certification from The Canadian Payroll Association, or equivalent.
- Bilingual in French and English, with exceptional communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office suite, and Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills, with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and drive change within a team.
