How will you contribute to the team?
•  
 Follow Atkins proposal development process and tools.
•    Independently responds to routine requests for information.
•    Coordinates with authors, section and volume leaders, subject-matter experts (SME), proposal writers, and other support personnel.
•    Under direction of proposal manager, supports pursuit process.
•    Performs research and interviews staff to help write/translate complex concepts into a narrative that can be understood by non-technical readers.
•    Independently creates and populates forms to be included in proposal submissions and assists proposal coordinators in obtaining appropriate signatures.
•    Takes active role in proposal document production.
•    Provide fundamental Vision queries
•    Pull resumes and project descriptions from Vision.
•    Lay out the proposal using InDesign template.
•    Coordinate and help produce, package, and track the proposal for delivery, ensuring that proposal submission deadlines are always achieved.
•    Assists in the proposal closeout process.
•    May perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

What will you contribute? 
•    Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related major preferred. Without a degree, ten years of relevant experience; preferably supporting proposals in the A/E/C industry.
•    Some knowledge of the engineering industry desirable; can understand the basics and can tell whether text is addressing the solicitation requirements.
•    Good communication skills and good command of the English language.
•    Computer skills required.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong grammar and spelling abilities. Self-starter, multitasker, team player, works well under pressure, and follows through on tasks, keeps the team informed of changes. Good attention to detail. Shows desire to take on responsibility.
•    Computer skills required and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, a plus.

Expected compensation range is between $62,534 - $104,223 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location. 
Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
