We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks a Desktop as a Service Manager to join our Global IT team in Orlando, FL.

In this role, the primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and secure delivery of virtual desktop services to end-users, optimizing performance and the user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including managed service providers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to develop and execute Digital Collaboration strategies that align with business goals.

The delivery of Information Technology to AtkinsRéalis is via IT Services, organized as a global operation with a significant presence in Canada, India, the United States, and the United Kingdom. IT Services has developed an operating model to revolutionize how its services are provided to the company, moving from a 'business as usual' focus to an organization driven by business value. Key concepts include transitioning to digital products, adopting agile delivery approaches across the organization, leveraging cloud services, and applying focus to supporting company project bids and delivery.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Deliver a Desktop as a Service (DaaS) deployment strategy that aligns with AtkinsRéalis' business requirements, goals, and objectives.
• Work with senior staff to develop and implement strategies to encourage the adoption of DaaS technology. Work with teams to ensure successful deployment and provide training and support to end-users.
• Work closely with key stakeholders, including IT Services staff, business leaders, and end-users, to define and prioritize DaaS requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and other third-party partners to procure and integrate DaaS technology components into AtkinsRéalis' IT infrastructure.
• Develop and implement DaaS training and support programs to enable end-users to use the new DaaS technology effectively.
• Monitor and report on DaaS deployment progress, providing regular status updates to key stakeholders.
• Identify and deliver any required service improvements; work with members of Service Delivery and all other IT towers to ensure improvements are delivered successfully, in line with the overall IT Services strategy.
• In addition to the duties outlined in this job description, you may be assigned additional responsibilities by the Senior Director of Operations, Service Delivery.

Essential: 

• Excellent all-round knowledge of Information Technology.
• Ability to quickly gain a high-level understanding of new technology and development processes.
• Have a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive delivery at speed.
• Be able to demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge in products and services associated with Technical Services.
• Appreciation of user experience, business, and commercial issues is a must.
• Provide leadership through a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Inquisitive and adopts a creative approach to their work.
• Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly at all levels, from technical to senior management.
• Able to prioritize activities with conflicting demands.
• Able to manage workload and work at the correct level of detail.

Desirable: 

• A background in Technical Services and awareness of 3rd party services.
• Previous management experience is desirable.
• Travel to other offices in the US and potentially overseas is a requirement of this role.  

What will you contribute?

• B.S. or B.A in Computer Science or another IT major. This level may be achieved by practitioners with 5 years of experience since related bachelor’s degree or 4 years since master’s degree.
• Without a degree, a H.S. Diploma, and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Flexibility in both attitude and approaches to work.
• Able to manage workload and work at the correct level of detail.
